Triisobutyl phosphate(TIBP) is a high-performance chemical featuring low viscosity, high thermal stability and low volatility. It is mainly applied as a defoamer for concrete admixtures, serving simultaneously as a liquefier to reduce segregation, control air content and enhance concrete durability and texture.
Triisobutyl phosphate(TIBP) also acts as a flame-retardant plasticizer for synthetic resins and rubbers, a wetting agent for textile auxiliaries, and an efficient defoaming agent in waterborne systems, textile printing & dyeing and adhesives. Additionally, it is used as an extraction agent for metals and acids in hydrometallurgy.
