Trioctyl phosphate(TOP) is mainly used as a working solvent in the anthraquinone hydrogen peroxide production process, instead of hydrogen terpene pinitol, with low volatility and high extraction partition coefficient. It is an ideal solvent. It can also be used as a cold-resistant and flame-retardant plasticizer for vinyl resins, cellulose resins and synthetic rubbers, and its low temperature performance is better than that of adipates.
