This bromine-nitrogen composite additive flame retardant boasts excellent compatibility with HIPS, PBT, PC, ABS and other engineering plastics. As an upgraded alternative to Decabromodiphenyl oxide, it effectively solves the drawbacks of poor light stability and easy yellowing of finished articles caused by DBDPO. Primarily developed for thermoplastic engineering plastics including ABS, PC/ABS, HIPS and PBT, it is ideal for electronic plastic housings. When compounded with antimony trioxide (ATO), it achieves UL94 V-0 flammability grade at low loading levels.
