REAPCHEM Showcases Water-Soluble Fertilizers at Agri World Japan 2023

Agri World Japan, Japan’s premier agricultural exhibition, was held from October 11 to 13, 2023 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Endorsed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, the event marked its 19th edition upon staging.

As a major agricultural nation, Japan boasts an agricultural market valued at USD 49.8 billion, with the fertilizer segment and agrochemical sector each accounting for USD 3.7 billion respectively. The country is home to 1.37 million farming households, sustaining robust market demand for agricultural inputs. Restrained by domestic industrial structural constraints, Japan relies heavily on imported fertilizers, with import dependency ratios for certain fertilizer varieties exceeding 50%, and China serving as a key supplier for such products.

REAPCHEM participated in the exhibition with a full portfolio of core nutrient products, including potassium nitrate, calcium nitrate, magnesium nitrate, monopotassium phosphate, urea phosphate, urea and ammonium sulfate, to engage local distributors, growers and industrial buyers on-site.
